Eva Nováková

Eva Nováková graduated from Charles University Law School in 1999. During her studies and after her graduation, she worked in the insurance industry until 2000. Between 2000 and 2004 she worked for the Prague office of the law firm Allen & Overy, and since 2004 has worked for JŠK (formerly Johnson Šťastný Kramařík). She became a partner in 2005. Eva is an administration and liquidation expert for domestic and foreign insurance companies registered by the Czech National Bank.

Eva‘s main area of expertise is insurance, where she has unique experience. At JŠK, she leads a dedicated team which regularly acts for a number of insurers, reinsurers, securities dealers, insurance and investment intermediaries and other financial institutions. Eva assists clients in creating policy wordings and related documentation, structuring distributions schemes and relationships with intermediaries, and represents clients in handling large and complex claims. Eva has also focused on regulation related to the insurance and finance industry, including licensing issues, competition issues, advertising, consumer protection and personal data. She assists clients in administrative proceedings, including those resolved by the Financial Arbitrator. Eva led the project of implementation of the new Civil Code for the Czech Insurance Association.

In addition, Eva focuses on litigation, IT law, employment law and healthcare.
