Our Regulatory team has once again contributed the Czech Republic chapter to this international comparison. For the third time, they have shared their insights on selected questions concerning the fundamentals of doing insurance business in the Czech Republic.

What’s new this year?

This year’s answers were shaped primarily by an amendment to the Insurance and Reinsurance Distribution Act, which reforms the functioning of so-called fleet insurance in the Czech Republic. The chapter also touches on developments in the ESG area, where the Czech National Bank published its interpretation of the applicability of EU legislation to insurance intermediaries.
