GLI: Bribery & Corruption 2026

Our partners Hana Nevřalová and Roman Kramařík have contributed to the international comparative publication Global Legal Insights (GLI): Bribery & Corruption 2026 with a chapter dedicated to the Czech Republic.

The chapter provides a clear and structured overview of the Czech legal framework governing bribery and corruption in both the private and public sectors, and outlines current trends in enforcement and corporate liability requirements. The authors place particular emphasis on areas presenting the highest exposure for companies – notably public procurement, grant and subsidy schemes, and typical risk scenarios in supply chains – including the enforcement of “effective” compliance programmes.

The chapter may serve as a practical starting point for companies seeking guidance on the Czech legal environment when implementing or strengthening compliance frameworks.

Should you require follow-up support with the implementation or review of a compliance programme, the design of internal controls, training, or the conduct of an internal investigation in a specific matter, our law firm is ready to provide tailored, practical legal assistance.
